A group of students, a professor and researchers of ITESM Campus Morelia develop “Smart Topes”

A group of students and researchers created intelligent road stops, which is held in its normal position before speeding vehicles, and otherwise is lowered to ground level to allow a steady pace.

The project is called Smart Tope seeks to reduce pollution and fuel consumption, while a more fluid helps vehicular traffic in cities.

The cap was developed by Professor Rosalino Rodríguez Calderón of Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM), campus Morelia, along with students of Mechatronics Engineering.
